I was out of town this weekend seeing some friends and recharging my batteries a little bit. But really I’m just dreaming of playing fetch in the sunshine for the rest of the summer!

My walking spots are quickly filling up for the summer, but

Casey loves posing for photos! Lucky for him, I also love taking pictures to share with his mom.

I often think back to an old @dogminded post about how many struggles with leash walks can be resolved by using a longer leash. And gosh it’s true, like 80% of leash “problems” can be resolved by using a longer leash.

Vintage and thrift stores are full of fun smells and novel objects for humans and pups! Kenna and I had fun poking around @vintageinspiredvt earlier this week. She enjoyed sniffing some of the rugs and planters and I enjoyed watching her explore.

Ruby heard I was doing floral photo shoots and posed herself with the flowers in the yard. I think she’s the prettiest flower in the yard, but I’m not sure she should be sitting in them 🫠

Every dog gets a google photo albums that I update whenever I take them out. If, like Kenna, your pup likes to explore stores they sometimes come with mini photo shoots! I have a fairly large arsenal of local pet friendly places to allow them to expl

When Ruby wants to take a break and bake in the sun, I know it’s been a good outing! Earning her affection and calm moments has been so rewarding to me.

This boy was SO BRAVE today! He greeted me, he watched a big, loud truck drive by, he stood in the sunshine and just absorbed the world. I’ve loved watching him come out of his shell.

We’re still slowly building trust over here, but Orly is consistently making eye contact and asking for treats and affection! Tough dog looks, big squish at heart.
